Why do we aerate lawns?

• Relieve soil compaction
• Increase soil air flow
• Improve root structure and depth- gives seed a place to start growing

Seed

What is the best seed? We use a 3 way blend of the best turf type tall fescues. They all have lateral spreading tendencies, which is not available with all seed out there. Lateral spreading is similar to the way bermuda grass grows, but without the headaches. This will help fill in bare spots and keep the lawn thick throughout the year. 

Fertilizer

Do I need it? To give your new seed the best possible chance of growing into a healthy plant, a balanced starter fertilizer is important. We use a fertlizer that is infused with Humic Acid. Humic acid is a group of molecules that bind to, and help plant roots receive, water and nutrients. High humic acid levels can dramatically increase yields.
